Reality check!!!!

I had planned to take the kids to a fun park near Notre Dame on this day. Within 5 minutes of my walk I knew there was no way I was going to make it with Ava in the mood she was in. There was no satisfying her until she finally snapped out of it around 2 PM. Alex however had so much fun throwing everything he could find into the fountain. I was so tired just kept pretending I didn't see him do it time and time again . . . that is until I had to fish his ice cream out with my bare hands! ick....
O' this is lovely. At disneyland Ava was acting up so I decided to capture the moment. Lovely, lovely, lovely...

Ok, so people keep asking me about Paris and I tell them the truth, it was fun but not worth the work. Then they say but it looks like it was all just so fairytale awesome when we look at your blog...

I did not have enough of a sense of humor at the airport to take a picture of me without a stroller carrying two tired children along with two backpacks and a duffel bag(yes those $%#^@! airlines check them to clear to baggage claim on international flights). Nor did I take a picture of Alex escaping TWICE at the little airport toy store and dumping those cute robot animals into the a water tank.... I also did not get a picture or better yet a video of me commandeering a wheelchair to push my eldest piled with bags in her lap while carrying Alex and the scene we would cause every time an airline employee would try to tell me the wheelchair was only for disabled passengers. And there is no way I could recapture the 6 TOTAL in stinky diapers I changed on the our trip home...

You asked for it so now you have it!

Ahhh. I love to know that other's are going through crazy toddler life like me. Although this is not making me feel good about traveling with all 4 of them to Korea next Spring.

I accidentally deleted my other post...what I was saying is that I admire you for even making the effort! The furthest we have traveled with our kids is 4 hours (in the car). I don't think I could do any more. Good for you!

I remember a similar experience flying alone with 2 little kids from Korea to California. LAX was a nightmare. You poor dear! Love you, Aunt Mary
