In the first part of April we headed to Utah for a little vacay. I needed a break from LA motherhood - who as anyone knows between trying to watch your kids at a park or mall with homeless people or "well-intentioned" people who have a lot to say about your parenting and/or child's behavior is sometimes very needed. It was also nice to not feel like the "young" mother.... hee hee anyone from Utah knows what I mean...
The first day we arrived we headed up to Wheeler Farm, near Logan, to go to this baby animal petting zoo that they hold once a year. I knew my kids would love it but still had the LA zoo bunny "petting" area fresh in my head - nice advertising guys but really I have no desire to stand in a long line to have my kids pet a rabbit that a zoo keeper holds and tells them just two fingers please with a look of despair on their face. BARF! I am all for animal rights and safety and well treatment but COME ON!!! I digressed...
Anyway, I will definitely plan my next spring trip home for this again, it was so fun and soooo cheap! Check out these adorable pictures of my kids having a wonderful time and actually getting in the cages with the animals.
Thanks Tiff n' Phil for inviting us to go on a family with the adored cousins! Yeee - haaa! It was great!

Sounds like so much fun! Too bad my kiddos are allergic to everything...I'd have to drug them so heavily for something like that, it might not be worth it. But...I am willing to try!
Its actually at the America West Heritage Center for those of you interested in attending next year...we sure loved having you guys here! And Charlie did get her shoes on today and told me to get mine on so we could come see you in "Californyou"
